Digitising a process without stopping the business
The plan that replaces everything on a Monday morning is the plan that gets reversed by Friday.
Replacing a manual process is not primarily a technical problem. The hard part is that the old process is load-bearing and the business cannot stop while you swap it out.
Pick the narrowest useful slice to move first, and keep the paper until nobody reaches for it.
