Challenge
A hotel's booking happens when the guest decides, which is rarely during office hours and almost never in the same city. Grand Amari were taking reservations by phone and at the desk, so every booking depended on someone being there to answer. The facilities had a quieter version of the same problem: the gym, the bar and the lounges were only discovered by guests who happened to walk past them.
Brand
We built the identity from the ground up — logo, palette, typography. Hospitality asks for a particular register: a hotel has to look like somewhere you'd want to arrive, without tipping into the glossy sameness that makes every resort site look like every other one.
Website
A site that sells the place and takes the booking. Rooms and rates, the facilities, and what the hotel actually offers, with reservation and payment handled online so a guest can book at midnight from anywhere. Enquiries and contact routes sit alongside it for the things a booking form can't cover.
Outcome
Bookings started arriving online rather than only by phone, and the hotel began turning up in search for people who didn't already know its name. The unexpected gain was the facilities: putting the gym, bar and lounges on the site sent more people through them, including guests already staying who hadn't known they were there.
