Challenge

An MC's work disappears the moment it's over. The room empties, the night is remembered by the people who were in it, and nothing is left to show the next client. John was winning work the way hosts always have — someone saw him, someone passed on his number — and mentoring younger hosts on top of it, with no place to point either group. The vendors he works beside every weekend had the same problem, one rung further down.

Brand

We handled the identity, and the brief the work set itself was warmth without noise. A host's brand has to look composed enough for a corporate booking and human enough for a wedding, which rules out most of the obvious moves in either direction.

Website

A personal site with the events, the services and a blog, and behind it a vendors' corner that grew into its own product. A vendor registers, gets a profile at their own username, and fills it with photos, an about, contact details, links, social handles and reviews — then takes bookings straight from the page. A searchable directory sits in front of it all, filtered by category, so a couple planning a wedding can find a caterer and a photographer in one place. An admin runs the whole thing: events, blog posts and comments, the gallery, vendor accounts and incoming bookings, all editable without a developer.

Outcome

John gets booked through the site now and gets calls from people who found him rather than from those sent to him. It also gave him something a personal page usually doesn't: standing. Clients arrive already convinced. And the vendors around him — businesses that mostly existed as a phone number in someone's contacts — have a page of their own to send people to. John runs all of it himself.
