Challenge
A gym's problem isn't signing people up, it's knowing where everyone stands. Who has paid, whose month lapsed last week, who is walking through the door on a membership that ended in March. Across three branches that was being held in registers and heads, renewals were chased when somebody remembered, and the front desk had no reliable way to tell a current member from a former one.
Brand
The logo came from the client. We built the guide around it — colour drawn from the mark, a typeface picked to carry both a marketing page and a dense admin table, and a spare, structured layout system so a member's dashboard and a branch report look like the same product.
Website
A public site for the gym and its branches, a shop for gym wear, a member portal, and an admin behind all three. Members see their payments, renewals, orders and attendance, and manage their own profile. Staff run enquiries, members, payments, products and reports from one place, with each branch scoped to its own data. Payments go through Paystack, settled by a three-stage fulfilment path so a payment can't be lost between the bank and the record. And a fingerprint terminal at the entrance checks against live membership status — the subscription and the door are the same system.
Outcome
Around 2,100 members are now registered across the three branches. Renewals go out as reminders instead of being chased, enquiries arrive somewhere they can be answered, and management can pull a report on any branch instead of assembling one. Access is settled at the door: a lapsed membership doesn't get in, and nobody has to be the person who says so.
